Created by Meabh Mc Curtin , Bonne Chauffe draws inspiration from the Frapin tradition and the secret of their cognac – the second distillation, known as the bonne chauffe, which gives the spirit its unique strength and character. The fragrance opens with a fruity and spicy duet of davana and black pepper, leading into an aromatic heart of dark plum, oak, and cereal notes. The base pulsates with smoky vetiver from Java, cedar, and patchouli, enveloped by the resinous warmth of benzoin from Siam. The overall effect creates a sensation of heat and amber glow – an elegant, intense composition that combines the craft of distillation with the alchemy of perfumery.
