Chris Maurice created this fragrance as a tribute to the emotions that accompany great art – rapture, tension, and a breathtaking finale. It was inspired by opera as a form – dramatic, passionate, and dazzling with its richness of detail. The composition opens with saffron and pink pepper, seamlessly transitioning into a bouquet of roses and ylang-ylang. Sandalwood, cedar, and musk develop in the background, underpinned by a dense amber depth and a hint of leather. Opera is a monumental fragrance, yet not overwhelming – full of gestures, yet perfectly balanced.
